Did you know?

German remains the language with the most native speakers in Europe – besides Germany having the largest population in the EU, the German language was once the lingua franca of central, eastern and northern Europe.

Freie Universität owes its founding, in 1948, to international support, and international impulses have shaped the university’s research activities and student life ever since. As an International Network University, Freie Universität thrives on its many contacts with higher education institutions and organizations in Germany and abroad, which provide critical impetus for the university’s research and teaching activities.

FU Berlin

Berlin is alive and kicking. After 4 months I was still impressed with what Berlin has to offer from culture, to nature, to clubbing, ... Berlin is the perfect place for studying and having fun. Be prepared to work hard during the week, preparing for each class session. And then you can have fun during the weekends.
