IAESTE

The International Association for the Exchange of Students for a Technical Experience, a mouthful, but who are we? In short, we give technically skilled students, like future engineers and scientists, the chance to go on a paid internship in about 90 countries all over the world.

If you’re enrolled in a Belgian university like the KU Leuven, we offer you the opportunity to gain some actual working experience while discovering new cultures and new people. Our internships can be as short as 6 weeks or last as long as a year. Wherever you arrive, a local IAESTE-team will guide you in finding the proper accommodation and building a social life during your stay. They will provide you with the necessary knowledge and activities to completely introduce you to their culture.
